A Season in South Africa — and a New Mission Partner

In the second half of 2010 Philip made the long trek south from Isaan to Ranong, then transitioned from OMF to STAMP (Strategic Missions Partnerships) — an agency whose model of cultural exposure and strong feedback to the home church fit him better. OMF released him graciously, his Tyro placement having done its job of helping him find his place. He flew to Johannesburg on 29 September 2010 for a roughly three-month home assignment on the family farm near Bronkhorstspruit, travelling on weekends to share his slide presentation and build a base of senders.
