Quarantine on the Island

In November 2021 COVID swept the village; testing found positives and the settlement was sealed under a 14-day quarantine. Philip and Chanab were cursed and blamed for reporting the symptoms — a hard, lonely stretch, eased only by an outsider (Fiona) leaving supplies at the bridge. Yet the same letter reports the small church growing, with new believers asking employers for Sundays off to worship.
