Wud Flies for Discipleship Training

By February 2023, Wud — the same boy introduced in 2012 as "Khay Dam," later "Wood" — sat his final government/college exam and was booked to fly on 1 April for a YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS). This is the visible payoff of the original boys cohort: a Moken young man, raised in Philip's house, stepping into ministry training. Philip's own volunteer visa was simultaneously under threat — a recurring administrative strain.
