A Bridge to the Village — and a Governor's Thanks

The same season brought official recognition: visits from Ranong's governor and Thailand's vice-president, and a provincial certificate of appreciation naming Philip "a good friend of the island and province." A practical and reputational turning point that opened doors for Moken citizenship advocacy.
