Machines, a Children's Day, and School Mornings

February and March 2026 brought a step forward for the water-and-ice factory and many ordinary, precious days with the children.

On 18 February Philip shared photos of the new water-bottling machines: the machines are installed.

On 20 February he again had the opportunity to be the MC at the local school's fundraiser. "It was a lot of fun," he wrote, "and most of the Moken school children took part in the performances." The next day the church went to Chang Island for a church children's day. "It was great to see how well children understood the gospel. And it was great fun too."

On 24 February Philip described how every school day begins. Every morning, Monday to Friday, he gathers the children to go to school. They read the Bible and pray, make sure everyone is clean, and then wait for the tractor to take the children to school.

At the end of March came one more evening on the microphone: Philip had the privilege of being the MC at the island's cashew-nut festival. "It was great fun."
